On Thursday 2nd August, David Icke posted an image of Krishnamurti, with the following quote, form Freedom from the Known (p.51-52):
"When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind.
When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind."
This New Age statement sums up all that is wrong with the New Age movement. Whilst it is certainly true that we do need to cooperate against the forces of financial, ethnic and cultural obliteration, just how are we to achieve freedom from those who seek to create single global governance, if we swallow the New Age nonsense that we are all the same? If there is nothing special about our traditions, then why should we hold on to them? If our Nations (Races) are exactly the same apart from external appearance, then surely we should embrace the mongrelisation of the globe, and the disappearance of diversity? If ideas and beliefs are really only tools of division, then we should simply give up our resistance to œcumenicalism, roll over and accept the economic direction the Earth is moving in, and abandon all our hopes and aspirations. If the New Agers are right, then it is time to give up everything which matters to us, and to become good little robots of the New World Order.
Thankfully, the New Age hocus pocus is not right. The well-meaning and nice words of the new (and not so new) Hippies are really just Political Correctness wrapped up in pseudo-spiritual clothing. It is no coincidence that the New Age movement arose in perfect lock-step with the political and economic forces which we have come now to know as the New World Order. The New Age is founded upon a belief that we are all one; citizens of the world; infinite conciousness partaking of a physical experience for which we are temporarily utilising our material bodies; no different under the skin etc. How exactly does this differ from the ideology of Cultural Marxism, other than having a very thin spiritual veneer to mask its deep communitarian outlook?
David Icke says he is trying to stop the despots who wish to create a One World slave State, yet his espousal of an idea that we are all the same and that our physical, ideological, spiritual and other human differences are illusions, only aids those who seek to denigrate what we cherish, and replace the richly diverse tapestry of humanity with a uniform mass of indistinguishable featherless bipeds. It is perhaps revealing that one of his books is called the Robots Rebellion.
The New Age is just a hippy route to the global gulag, and those who walk that path may feel that they are in some way enlightened (Illuminated?), but for all the pseudo-spiritual mumbo jumbo, they are still walking into a new world where humanity will be reduced to nothing but a mongrelised, culturally devoid, mass of producer-consumers with no traditions, faith, ideology or aspirations (other than survival). Unfortunately, the New Agers have the zeal of religious extremists and will condemn all who do not accept their view of the world as 'Prisoners of the Left Brain'. They are the new Useful Idiots, who believe they have all the answers, and for this reason, can look down at those who do not share their beliefs. As times get harder, the New Agers will retreat further into their imaginations and step further back from the struggle. An oft used phrase is that,
'If you're fighting the system, then you're still caught in it. It's not about fighting the system; it's about ceasing to hold it together.'
Whilst there is much truth in the need to stop cooperating with our oppressors, simply having faith that by not cooperating, our enemies will lose power and go away, is ludicrous. We need to build a fully functioning alternative to their financial, political and educational systems AND smash the existing hierarchy. The New Age sees attacks against the Old Order as a part of the problem; whereas of course, doing nothing is the real problem. The New Age justifies inaction as somehow noble; it is not.
David Icke also peddles the idea of Inter-dimensional Shape-Shifting Retoids. It is obvious that the examples from mythology can be identified with dæmons, and so the idea is not new. However, Icke seeks to destroy any spiritual reference, which makes as much sense as the Atheist conception of Equality, which manipulates the religious idea that 'All Men are created Equal' but denies a Creator!
The New Age is misleading, and is being used to herd the people into the Internationalist trap they are increasingly becoming aware of.
